As we are rapidly growing our team and locations, GraceMed is looking for an experienced, customer-service oriented medical receptionist to join our team. Our preferred candidate would be someone who has worked within the cosmetic field and has a good understanding of surgical and/or non-surgical cosmetic procedures. We are looking for a professional individual with a focus on patent care and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming pre-op, surgical & post-op patients into the clinic
Ensure all patient demographics are correct and updated as needed
Room all post-op patients upon arrival
Manage all incoming calls related to pre-op, post-op and surgery.
Create SRS patient profiles in Nextech
Manage all incoming faxes
Ensure all OR packages are ready for each surgical day and include all necessary documents
Prepare labels for minor procedures OR specimen containers
Scan all patient surgical packages on OR days after surgery
Bill all OHIP charges for surgeons, complete EMN’s to be billed, correct error reports, download & process remittance, pull A/R report monthly and re-submit or adjust off old charges
Conduct admin process for all pre-ops (taking final payments, surgery prep, arrival time, etc.)
Performing financial transactions such as debit, credit card and cash
Dealing with courier and lab services
Maintaining cleanliness of reception area and waiting room
Other responsibilities as needed
Skills & Qualifications
Previous customer focused role and/or clinic experience in plastic surgery preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills,
Self-starter, with a proven track record of high performance
Outstanding communication skills and excellent phone demeanor
Extremely high proficiency in technology and software programs and the ability to learn new programs quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Engaging personality and optimistic outlook
