Receptionist Job Duties:

• Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• Optimizes patient’s satisfaction and exam room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone
• Comforts patients by anticipating patient’s needs, anxieties; answering patients’ questions; maintaining the reception area
• Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records
• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
• Open and close routines

Experience:

• Previous Medical Clinic Reception experience is a requirement
• Ability to comprehend and retain large amounts of information regarding the variety of services we offer
• Outstanding communication skills and excellent phone demeanor
• Strong multitasking skills and quick learner for computer skills and scheduling system
• Experience using Accuro EMR is a strong asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

Salary: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Medical Secretaries & Patient Registrars: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• Fluent English (required)
