We pride ourselves in providing a high level of expertise and service to handle any logistics challenges customers may be facing.
We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to add to our growing Montreal, QC team.
YOUR ROLE
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for building relationships with our partner carriers with a focus on planning the availability and allocation of equipment.
Duties include negotiating rates and schedules with multiple departments and partner carriers to meet customer obligations.
This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
Your responsibilities:
Build relationships with customers and partner carriers
Track availability and allocation of equipment and drivers
Develop an understanding of customers’ needs and take action to ensure their needs are met
Create an effortless transaction for company clients, ensuring customer loyalty
Collaborate with other departments as necessary to meet customer requirements, take advantage of sales opportunities and limit negative impacts the company
Work with partner carriers to find those who offer the best solution and schedules to fulfill customer needs
Negotiate rates and timelines with customers and partner carriers
Interpret and resolve load problems for partner carriers concerning customs, shipper/receiver, scheduling and paperwork
Assist with accounts receivable to obtain Proof of Delivery from partner carriers
Other duties may be assigned

Bilingual required, multilingual an asset
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to new situations
Experience with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to give direction regarding work responsibilities, rules, and guidelines
Ability to use discretion in decision making within predetermined limits and procedures
