As an Associate Analyst, Supply Chain Systems, you’ll support the information systems component of the organization. This position supports activities such as IT service management tasks, system configuration, writing specifications for minor new development and system enhancements, and performing quality assurance testing, while taking direction from more senior analysts and IT Managers. This role is critical in positioning GXO for long-term success.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Support Project or IT Managers for system implementations / upgrades and continued support, complete project and change management tasks as assigned
Support tasks fostering and supporting ongoing business relationships
Assist in writing specifications for minor new development and system enhancements with enough detail and complete use cases to define code and test requirements, partner in developing detailed functional specifications and user documentation for minor modifications, defect corrections, and enhancements
Support in configuration of systems for integration, order management, and warehouse management
Support integrated quality assurance testing on system changes before they are released to production, work with end users to perform user acceptance testing on system changes before they are released to production
Provide training to end users in system use
Provide site-support to distribution, business operations centers, and support to resolve data-related problems with logistics information systems
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
Understanding of current information system technologies, including client/server, relational databases, web-based systems and object-oriented design
It’d be great if you also have:
One year of experience with WMS system design, development, testing and implementation
Implementation and support experience with web-based applications and ERP
Experience in at least one of the following business disciplines: supply chain management, warehousing, transportation or distribution
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering
Knowledge of formal systems development methodologies
Experience using SQL for data extraction, troubleshooting and reporting
