This leader ensures each monthly S&OP cycle for the Canadian BU is aligned to historical trends incorporating the latest market intelligence from Marketing and Sales while aligning to corporate financial goals and objectives, as well as assuring the growth plans of the customer are realized by leading the implementation with North American Supply Chain. The incumbent manages Canada BU’s cross-functional forecasting activities with Sales, Marketing and Trade, Finance, together with NA Supply Chain to reconcile significant variance drivers, refine forecast models, update assumptions, and guides the business teams on any corrective actions and improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the supply chain single point of contact through creating and maintaining excellent working relationships with the senior supply chain stakeholders within the Customer’s organization and engage directly across all levels and functions when needed.
Partners and collaborates with NA Supply Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Coman, Brand, Trade Marketing and Sales teams to identify and manage inventory targets including days of supply, aged and safety stock to maintain customer service levels.
Coordinates and collaborates across Hain Canada BU, Sales, Brand, Finance and across all of NA Supply Chain to ensure effective and efficient coordination from translation of customer execution plans into operational execution.
Ensure supply chain readiness associated with promotions and new product introduction and changes in distribution.
Coordinates the supply chain activities enabling superior On Time, In Full (OTIF) service necessary to achieve Hain Celestial Canada’s Revenue. EBITDA and goals.
Review current week performance on key service metrics for customers, including but not limited to on time delivery (OTIF), in full.
Act on any gaps to OTIF or any issues with deliveries per our specific customers “Vendor Policies”.
With a forward, assess and act on closing any gaps to fulfilling our customer’s forecasts by working with Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, and the NA Customer Supply Chain team.
Drive the monthly assessment of customer supply chain scorecards. Creates benchmarks, key performance indicators and metrics to measure for operational performance such as COGM, quality, safety, inventory turns and communicates results.
Identify performance gaps and lead cross functional remediation efforts to continually improve service and efficient flow to the customer. Ensure a disciplined and continuously improving process that allows for action planning and decision making. Work directly with the customer to resolve service issues and coordinate remediation.
Advises on product demand initiatives with demand/forecasting team and proactively communicates any anticipated production capacity constraints.
Communicate as needed with customers’ supply chain leaders, to provide communication on issues and to proactively manage expectations.
Support the Canadian BU Team by participating in weekly or ad hoc meetings and business reviews.
Continually assess and evaluate the impact to Hain Canada of any supply chain performance management policies from customers, particularly as it relates to compliance or incentive programs. This includes developing action plans to address any gaps.
Identify and timely communicate to the Canadian BU, NA Customer Supply Chain, Finance, etc. risks to delivering customer expectations and address those risks using the appropriate analytics and an urgency towards action.
Development of Customer Supply Chain strategic plan to drive opportunity savings at specific accounts. Ensure strong linkage of Customer’s strategy to overall Supply Chain strategy.
Requirements:Minimum Requirements:
Undergraduate degree with relevant academic and/or work experience: Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Economics, or other technical degree is required, MBA preferred.
5-7 years’ experience in a leadership role of Supply Chain management, Demand Planning/Forecasting, Supply Planning, Customer Experience capacity in a multi-category Consumer Package Goods company, preferably Food.
Demonstrated experience in leading a S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process.
APICS certification is a highly regarded plus.
Prepare and analyze standard cost of goods.
Project Management experience.
Ability to understand/relate to all other functional areas within company (R&D, Sales, Marketing, & Finance)
Strong strategic planning and tactical decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet constant deadline with strong attention to detail and quality control.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
10-15 years of experience in business process, supply chain, demand planning, IBP and S&OP.
Advanced understanding of customer relations, demand planning and supply chain fundamentals especially the S&OP process.
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills. Must be able to professionally present information in manners to inform colleagues of status and necessary actions. Must be persuasive with presentations while building and maintaining relationships with business leaders.
Manage conflicts with the best solution for the business in mind.
Self-motivated and strong analytical / problem solving skills. Must have a passion for quantifying problems, finding solutions, and implementing them.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.

Extensive experience with co-packers: contract negotiation and enforcement, systems design requirements for co-packers, inventory reporting and control, design of results reporting, audit, and follow-up.
Understanding of manufacturing environments and general operations.
Experience with logistics reporting and understanding of transportation and warehousing. Logistical & Inventory planning experience.
Procurement: Understanding of PPV, variance reporting, control, and use of key management metrics.
Reporting: Must have expert knowledge of tracking actual performance and designing and enforcing a forecast system for all cost centers in this area of responsibility.
Integrated Business Planning implementation, assessment &/or support experience.
Knowledge and Experience in executing change management.
Knowledge of each component of the End-to-End Demand Fulfillment process.
