Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) is inviting applications for the casual position of Summer Youth Live Vehicle Operator in Parks and Recreation. The Summer Youth Live Vehicle Operator will work with full time staff and summer operations assistants to help with Youth Live’s Green Cart Delivery & Repair operation.
If successful in obtaining this position, you will be based out of Youth Live Warehouse and Admin Office (1300 St. Margaret’s Bay Road, Beechville). You’ll be given training and supervision to get started with the green cart operation.

WORK STATUS: Casual/Seasonal, Expected start date for these positions is May 2nd, 2022.
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Some weekends may be required
SALARY: Non-Union, $14 per hour (plus 4% vacation pay)
WORK LOCATIONS: Enviro Depot – 947 Mitchell Street, Halifax & Youth Live Warehouse – 1300 St. Margaret’s Bay Road
