Role Description

Haloo is looking for the next Business Development Representative. In this role, you will partner closely with our Sales and Marketing teams. From identifying Haloo’s ideal customer and executing outbound prospecting strategies to facilitating initial conversations and creating market-wide excitement about Haloo, you will be an integral member of our Sales organization. You’re a detective, a prospector, and a cheerleader for Haloo – hungry to succeed, results-driven, resilient and creative. Your key metrics are leads and contacts created, meetings booked, and conversion from outreach campaigns.

Requirements (Sound like you?)
Experience: Prior start-up experience is a huge plus, as is prior work experience as an SDR or BDR with a demonstrated history of success. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot), Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator etc., as well as tools like Slack and Zoom is a plus.
Great communicator: Excellent written and oral communication. Part of our job is to capture people’s attention and get them excited about Haloo. You’re able to do this both over the phone and in emails, conveying excitement for our solutions. You communicate in a clear, persuasive, and compelling manner.
Highly organized: Excellent organizational skills, to keep track of leads and data, work within HubSpot and track all interactions and data points consistently and follow SOPs meticulously.
Strategic thinker: You love data and are always evaluating and looking to improve results based on what is and isn’t working. You figure out what matters most to people and can articulate value for them. You’re constantly adding value and looking for opportunities, based on the trends and information before you.
Results-driven: You are highly motivated to succeed, with a very strong work ethic. You are persistent and have a thick skin – when the going gets tough (as it often is with outreach campaigns), you keep going and are determined to succeed and yield results.
Knowledge seeker: You are passionate about our product and a quick study on learning new tech and tools. You are also hungry to learn and are constantly learning about trademarks, legal tech, and our specializations.
Adaptable team player: You love a start-up and understand that growth stage companies are constantly growing and evolving… and this is part of the fun! You are a true team player and are flexible in your expectations and approach. You are coachable and collaborative, and excited to be a player on the team and achieve common goals together.
