Hamilton Plastic Systems Looking for Part sales / purchasing person at Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Hamilton Plastics is a manufacturer and distributor of Auxiliary equipment for the plastics industry. We are committed to providing the best sales support to our growing customer based throughout North and South America.

We are seeking an experienced inside parts sale / purchasing person.

Responsibilities

·        Providing exceptional customer service when taking orders, and problem solving

·        Interacting with suppliers effectively; placing and tracking urgent orders, updating pricing

·        Ensure that materials for projects are ordered and received in a timely fashion

·        Entering sales orders and quotes, filling POs, creating part numbers

·        Navigating inventory systems and helping with period cycle counts and inventory management

·        Greeting and assisting front counter customers in a friendly and professional manner

Requirements

·        Experience with working and communicating to customers

·        Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge an asset

·        Problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills

·        Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.

·        Communicate with ease in English (both written and spoken)

·        Able to work legally in Canada
