We are hiring an HR Coordinator to support all our campuses.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain confidentiality with all employment-related matters within the organization; promote an “open door” environment with all employees;
Answer internal and external queries that are relevant to the HR department
Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to the development of policies;
Looking over the ESA, AODA, Health & Safety, and ensuring company policies and regulations are compliant to these laws
Gather information on market conditions to design or update salaries, compensation, and employee benefits packages.
Support and administrate compensation and benefits;
Evaluating employee satisfaction, discussing employee complaints, and investigating any disruptions among co-workers
Work with the leadership on various events and initiatives throughout the year that support and improve employee engagement
Update and maintain employee records and prepare reports
Support the talent acquisition related tasks and processes
Perform other HR administrative duties
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relevant field.
Minimum of 3 years of exposure in progressive human resources generalist roles with a proven track record of success.
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and HRIS.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Team player with a client-centric mindset and positive attitude.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
A good understanding of employment legislation and regulations (ESA, OHSA, Ontario Human Rights Code, AODA, etc.)
