Role Description
The SaaS Finance Director is a key member of Harmonic’s global finance team and is responsible for supporting our global SaaS Business Unit. This role is a key partner to both the executive leadership team, and be a part of the SaaS leadership team. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, passionate about finding data-driven solutions to solve problems, curious and inclined towards process improvement and efficiency. This role will report to the VP of FP&A and dotted-line into the GM.

What you will be doing
- Lead the SaaS FP&A team on annual and quarterly planning process for SaaS, including Bookings, Revenue, and Quota-setting; as well as any other long-term business modeling/planning initiatives
- Manage the team to build and maintain Tableau dashboards and metrics to identify key trends, risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the business unit and Sales to provide regular insights and analysis, and support regular business reviews and planning sessions.
- Have a sharp focus on driving cost efficiencies
- Drive the recurring global booking and revenue forecast process. Lead cross-functional meetings and ensure achievement of associated targets for the company. Ownership of the reporting models, data integrity and completion of key action items
- Partner with Sales Ops and the Commissions analysts on annual SaaS quota planning and regular reporting of performance metrics.
- Create reports/dashboards/KPIs related to pipeline health, customer analytics, salesforce performance and forecast accuracy.
What you will need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and at least 8 years of relevant finance experience
- Superior analytical and modeling skills including advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports.
- Hands on, results-oriented and comfortable navigating systems to get the right data. Take ownership of the role and the responsibilities, including processes and data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to synthesize complex issues for all levels of the organization, including executives.
- Comfortable meeting tight deadlines and managing priorities.
- Strong experience with Excel, SFDC and Tableau (or other analytics tools). Experience with Adaptive Insights a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting; experience in a US company is highly desirable.
