Okanagan Clinical Trials is a Headlands Research site. Under the leadership of Dr. Kim Christie, Okanagan Clinical Trials makes a significant contribution to the medical industry. Our clinic specializes in the execution of research studies that hope to advance treatments for many indications including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, migraine, autism, celiac disease, diabetes, and more.
Okanagan Clinical Trials is seeking a fulltime Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Kelowna, BC.
Full Time / 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm
The Role
The primary responsibility as the Receptionist is to manage the day-to-day reception duties in our fast-paced clinic environment. As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the company therefore the successful candidate will have a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Duties
- Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone call
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Reminder calls
- Data Entry
- Ordering of office supplies
- Office errands
- Bank deposits
- Maintain COVID-19 sanitizing log
- Filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Sanitization and kitchen duties
Qualifications:
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- College courses in secretarial skills/office administration is a bonus
- 1-2 years of experience in office
- Pleasant, friendly disposition.
- Outstanding phone etiquette
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
- Knowledge of operating standard office equipment.
