Certification as a Continuing Care Assistant or equivalents* Vulnerable / Criminal Record Check. Continuing Care Assistant Registry. Valid Driver’s license and reliable vehicle required. Basic Computer Skills.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and clinical skills. Effective communication. Able to maintain regular and consistent attendance.
*Standard First Aid & CPR Level “C” *Personal Care Course *Non-Violent Crisis Invention *OH&S and Risk Management Practices *Fire & Life Safety *Safe Patient Handling and Mobility.
Provides and or assists with all activities of daily living. Collaborates with the resident / team members in the development and implementation of individualized plan of care. Performs delegated tasks according to company policy and scope of employment. Assists with resident’s restorative care programs. Communicates and reports relevant information regarding resident care and safety.
