As a Corporate Concierge with Hines, you will be reporting to the Lead Concierge, the Corporate Concierge is a vital member of the CIBC SQUARE Tenant Relationship Management team and will focus on building a strong sense of community by fostering and personalizing tenant relationships that are built on a first name basis. This customer service and brand ambassador role will require the demonstration of the highest level of communication, professionalism, natural enthusiasm, proactive attitude, promptness, and a genuine passion for creating a memorable experience for tenants and visitors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Welcome and greet tenants and visitors with a genuine and unobtrusive demeanor
Engage with all levels of tenant’s (executive admin support personnel, company decision makers, general tenant population) in regular conversation as a means of getting to know their specific needs, preferences, and expectations
Respond effectively to the general tenant and senior representative requests for information and recommendations such as local and global entertainment, sporting events, ticket sourcing, hotels and traveling, restaurants, transportation arrangements, etc.
Assist Lead Concierge as requested in the administration and oversight of master directories and building information
Gaining and maintaining a thorough knowledge of all building services, amenities, current events, and surrounding community
Ensuring the lobby and desk is always in a presentable manner and utilizing the Work Order system to report issues when needed
Curating monthly Concierge newsletter
Proactively stay informed on all our tenants through Google Alerts. Conduct weekly research on our clients and manage client database
Liaise with property management and service providers and assist where needed
Minimum Requirements include:
High School Diploma, Post-Secondary diploma, or degree from an accredited institution is preferred
Three or more years’ experience and previous success in a concierge or customer service role, preferably in hospitality or commercial property management industry.
An active member or former member of Les Clefs d’Or is preferred
Outgoing, friendly and customer-service focused, with exceptional listening and questioning skills
Resourceful team player whose integrity will build strong and trusting relationships with tenants and teammates
Strong self-confidence, positive outlook, personal responsibility, and reliability
Highly motivated self-starter, “can-do” attitude, high sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Due to the work environment and clientele the candidate must be cultured in a variety of disciplines, i.e., arts & entertainment, business, culinary world, sports, etc.
Professional presentation, well-groomed
Proficient in all MS Office applications
