Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Hitrac’s location in Winnipeg, MB. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial statements and reports, and handling internal audits. The Accountant will be required to perform other duties related to accounting and administrative work.

Qualifications

• Expertise in bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting
• Ability to work with accounting software and tools
• Experience in accounts payable and receivable
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Knowledge of construction industry accounting is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
