The opportunity:
As an expert Talent Acquisition Specialist (Corporate Recruiter), you will act as the subject matter expert in sourcing, attracting, and recruiting the talent required to elevate HomeStars as we scale into the future. Joining a team of 4, you will promote and execute HomeStars’ Talent Acquisition strategy while demonstrating an understanding of the external market, a passion for a high caliber candidate experience, and elevating our employer brand.
Your typical day at HomeStars:
Manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process, from requirement intake to initiating onboarding.
Coach and support hiring managers, providing support, ongoing status on candidate pipelines, facilitating selection of the successful candidates, and extending and negotiating offers.
Develop a thorough understanding of the external market to ensure that HomeStars maintains a strong position in recruiting top talent.
Effectively manage projects, often with competing deadlines and priorities, such as requisition management, status and metric reporting, and ad-hoc projects/initiatives.
Implement best practices to attract and recruit diverse talent, including technology, social media, educational and professional organizations, and referral networks.
Provide accurate weekly and ad hoc reporting promptly.
Identify and recommend key opportunities for continuous improvement to the Talent Acquisition process, systems, and tools, as needed
Must-have qualifications:
2+ years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a corporate or agency environment, with a track record of success
Expert-level sourcing skills – designing Boolean strings, building equitable sourcing strategies, and converting passive talent into active candidates
Strong time management skills and initiative, with the ability to execute project-based work as necessary
Experience with collecting, preparing, reporting, and presenting recruitment data
Preferred qualifications:
1+ years of hands-on experience with recruitment marketing tools (Lever + Nurture preferred); creating and executing automated email campaigns
Positive attitude with a test-and-learn mentality
Ability to navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
