Position Summary:

As the Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to all creditors.
What you’ll do:
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation
- Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
- Generate purchase orders when necessary
- Provide support to senior financial officers as needed
About you:
- At least 1 year of experience working in accounts payable
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
- Proven ability to enter data accurately and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Experience using accounting software, Quickbooks or other ERP, and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Possessing a degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or business administration is a plus
