About the Role:
The House of Commons is currently looking to staff the PPO-HR Operations Officer.
In this position, you will be accountable for the delivery of a range of human resources support services including short-term recruitment and staffing, interpretation of collective agreements, office and equipment allocation and other related issues, and the coordination of training, performance evaluation and recognition programs and HR reporting for the Parliamentary Precinct Operations’ (PPO) Directorate). You will coordinate the delivery of non-delegated services in areas managed by corporate HR Services (e.g. staffing and classification requests; etc.). Responsibilities also require developing or contributing to PPO specific programs, processes, tools and other initiatives in support of ongoing and evolving PPO human resources management requirements, as well as aligning PPO HR processes and controls with corporate HR transformation directions and plans.

This recruitment process is restricted to employees working within the House of Commons Administration. Staff the position of PPO-HR Operations Officer on a determinate basis (temporary). Create a pool of potential candidates that may be considered to staff future vacancies for this position or for other similar and/or related positions on an indeterminate and/or determinate basis. Consideration may be given to candidates with other linguistic profiles.
