Social Media Content Specialist
Overall Responsibilities
The Social Media Content Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging content across various platforms, managing HSH’s social media presence, engaging and building our online community, optimizing our advertising campaigns and coordinating events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, a gift for storytelling, and a proven track record of driving engagement and growth across multiple platforms.
Primary Duties
Organic social media:
- Manage social media strategy and online presence for HSH including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others.
- Create, and manage published content including written, images and video to align with the brand voice and strategy.
- Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor, listen, and respond to comments to help cultivate leads and business development efforts.
- Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
- Analyze key metrics and optimize the strategy as needed.
- Measure and improve ROI
- Define the most important social media KPIs and measure/report on the success of social media campaigns
Paid social media:
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns on platforms such as Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube Ads, and others.
- Manage social media advertising budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and efficient spend.
- Conduct A/B tests to identify high-performing creatives and strategies.
- Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to inform future campaigns.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, making recommendations for adjustments to campaigns and strategies.
Other firm communications
- Write communication campaigns for firm news (e.g., media appearances, awards, speaking engagements, etc.) and post the content to the firm’s website and appropriate social media channels.
Event Coordination:
- Support with planning and executing events including, sponsorships, golf tournaments, conferences, and networking activities to support business development initiatives.
Other duties include:

- Manage Google Reviews
- Staff newsletter
- Ad hoc projects & design
- PowerPoint generation
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience in social media management, with a focus on both organic and paid strategies.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and how each platform can be positioned in different scenarios.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Asana, Socialpilot) and advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with influencer marketing and outreach.
- Proficiency in marketing software (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, MailChimp, Linktree)
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Experience with video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects).
- Graphic design skills with proficiency in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
