Looking for an Electrical Apprentice

The individual must have a vehicle and the individual must have his own hand tools such as power drill and hand tools. The employer will pay all traveling cost to and from worksite.

The Electrical Apprentice must have at least 2 years of Electrical Work Experience and have completed high school.

Duties

• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specification to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
• Pulled wire through conduits and though holes in the wall and floors
• Installed brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment
• Installed, replaced and repaired lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels
• Spliced, joined and connected wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
• Tested continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair
• Troubleshooted and isolated faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components
• Connected electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
