Wealth and Personal Banking
We help clients to manage, protect and grow their wealth. We offer a range of services from personal banking, mortgages and loans to investment, savings and wealth management products. The role is responsible for developing, executing, tracking and optimizing sales strategies in partnership with Product Teams, Marketing, Customer Lifecyle Management, and Data Analytics to grow digital sales (units, revenue, and channel share) across Retail Banking business lines (Credit Cards, Chequing, Savings, Term Deposits, Mortgages and Loans) in CANADA. The role is part of the Digital Team that delivers personalized and relevant experiences to our customers and sales for HSBC Canada by acquiring, engaging and servicing them through owned digital channels (the hsbc.ca web site, Online Banking, the HSBC Mobile Banking App, Email and Social). Sales strategies can include integrated (ATL BTL) campaigns with Marketing, BTL only campaigns and always on tactics led by Digital Sales.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, customer segmentation, and optimization of UX to develop highly personal, timely and insightful customer communications that drive funnel conversion and digital sales. Previous experience at the Manager level and within the Financial Services industry is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute digital sales strategies with key partners to drive a common digital growth agenda.
Track performance of campaigns, funnels and digital sales through a weekly digital dashboard and Adobe Analytics reports.
Identify trends and insights and optimize performance based on insights.
Benchmark digital performance and processes against industry best practices; proposing change where necessary.
Ensure sales strategies are data driven, built around customer insights, and focused on enhancing CX.
Key stakeholders include Marketing, Product, Customer Lifecyle Management, Data Analytics, Legal/Regulatory Compliance and Digital Specialists.
Responsible for obtaining buy-in from stakeholders for all key initiatives with respect to targeting, offers, tactics, creative and timing.
Be a passionate advocate for Digital and the CX to inspire stakeholders to partner with Digital Sales to achieve long-term goals.
Provide thought leadership to grow the contributions of digital within the WPB business.
Work collaboratively across all parts of Retail Banking on sales initiatives.
Identifying key risks, issues and interdependencies and provide appropriate mitigation strategies.
Supporting audit / independent programme assessments as required.
Responsible for ensuring SLA’s are achieved at specified cost.
Work with Operational Risk and other key functions to define the optimal balance between security, customer convenience and work processes.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of Digital Marketing experience.
Strong understanding of A/B multivariate testing, UX, optimization and funnel analysis.
Experience leveraging data and analytics to gain insights to enhance CX and business results.
Strong digital expertise and a digital first mindset.
Strong leadership in developing differentiated, segmented sales and communication strategies
Background in planning and strategy in the digital business.
Strong collaboration, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to navigate and deliver results in a matrix organization.
Proven ability to lead and influence global teams.
Bachelor degree in Business/Marketing.
