The Program
As a poverty reduction program, Patch delivers services to people living in poverty, in an integrated, wrap-around fashion, at place-based neighbourhood hubs located in Calgary Housing Company areas. Services reflect the expressed and assessed needs, priorities, and interests of participants – individuals, families, youth, and children. Patch services target the multi-dimensional nature of poverty for people.
The Position
Patch is looking to fill two temporary Community and Family Facilitator (CFF) positions, one is a Full Time 6-month contract and the other is a Part Time (.5) position with a 1 year contract.
We seek candidates who can best fulfill the duties and responsibilities identified below. This is an excellent developmental opportunity for someone seeking experience in a dynamic community program.
The Community and Family Facilitator is part of a team responsible for the day-to-day operations and walk-in appointments at the Patch hub and will deliver services for Basic Needs & Referrals as well as support in Employment & Education, Financial Empowerment, or Community Connection.
This role is based on a 40-hour workweek and requires a willingness to work in a non-structured work schedule, including some evenings and weekends to meet client and program needs.
