What You Will Do
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Learning Services Assistant will provide excellence in administrative support within Program Planning, Development & Renewal (PPDR), and the main priority of this role is to provide outstanding customer service and clerical support.
The Learning Services Assistant handles email inquiries from primarily students, professors and staff, and the Humber community, and provides clerical support to the Program Planning, Development & Renewal (PPDR) team. The Learning Services Assistant maintains a professional office environment by coordinating incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling daily courier needs, maintaining office supplies, troubleshooting photocopier issues and repairs, ensuring the mailroom, the general office and kitchen area are organized, and places maintenance calls as needed. Clerical duties include, but at are not limited to, preparing, formatting, and collecting program materials and documentation, managing shared mailboxes, booking boardrooms, and ordering catering when required. The Learning Services Assistant will also assist with note-taking and special events.
The Learning Services Assistant also provides back up for other staff and may work on a variety of projects and initiatives as needed.

Education
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a two (2) year diploma or equivalent from a recognized educational institution in a related area such as education, business, or administration.
Experience & Skills
The incumbent must have a minimum of 1-year related experience (Note: Work Integrated Learning will be considered)
