Role
Being in full growth for the last decade, HydroSolution, belonging to Enercare an Ontario leader in residential equipment, must run reports in order to meet the demands of the industry which is constantly evolving.
As Senior Financial Analyst, we will call on your collaboration and sense of initiative to support several key accounting reports in the management of HydroSolution. Your objective? Be a right arm of the Director, Finance and Administration by supporting accounting activities.
Demonstrating a passion for accounting management and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, the Financial Analyst is expected to enhance current accounting processes while prioritizing the rigor and precision for which the administration department is renowned.
Responsibilities
Financial reports
· Be responsible for certain key reports for our external and internal operations;
· Create, maintain and write reports for the Enercare parent company;
· Submit sporadic reports for the parent company;
· Automate report creation or enhance accounting processes for report creation;
Contribute to the internal accounting process
· Support the consolidation of financial data;
· Actively participate in the accounting process related to the various activities of the company, especially at the end of the month;
· Contribute to the reliability of the financial information to be provided and guarantee compliance with deadlines;
· Participate in year-end activities;
Support management and promote continuous improvement
· Work closely with the HydroSolution and Enercare administration team to create synergy in the accounting processes;
· Be responsible for the budget process and ensure its follow-up;
· Support the operations analyst in the creation of organizational performance reports;
· Actively participate in the quality assurance process and develop tools in this regard in order to solidify a culture of continuous improvement;
Ideal requirements
· Hold a university degree in accounting and the CPA title;
· Have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in similar functions;
· Consolidation experience will be considered an asset;
Master the MS Office suite, mainly Excel (advanced)
· Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP accounting software and Manager reporter (an asset);
· Have a developed analytical mind, an increased attention to detail and be recognized for their speed of learning;
· Enjoy working in a team and maintaining good professional relationships;
· Be open to change and easily share new ideas;
Bilingualism
· Be available from Monday to Friday during the day for a full-time job (37.5 hours);
