IAA, Inc., a leading provider of loss recovery services to the insurance industry in Canada, has an opening for a Marketing Specialist at our Corporate Office in Mississauga.

MACRO:

Creatively assists in the development and implementation of marketing programs, plans, tactics, projects, and campaigns that are designed to build and strengthen Impact’s brand and communication. Responsibilities include managing social channels, content, assisting with end-to-end development of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including executing the tactical elements of the plans to help the company maintain its leading brand and position in the market.

MICRO:

The Marketing Specialist position would be responsible for assisting in the development of marketing programs, campaigns, and sales tools with an objective to support strategic initiatives, new product/solutions Go-To-Market strategy, and business growth in Canada.

This would include:

• Overall project management of initiatives from inception, content development, deployment, and execution as planned
• Overall project management of all marketing materials developed for each division and any specific promotions
• Tracking and reporting on social media performance, campaign results, and metrics to improve performance
• Maintaining a competitor tracking system for the overall market and any shifts in it
• Project management of proposal responses and presentations
• Interfacing with the sales, product development, IT, and management teams
• Daily management and collaboration with the internal global marketing and communications team and outsourced marketing vendors
• Maintaining an industry media tracking system for overall market messages, competitor activity, and client opportunities
• Daily management of marketing budget, invoice, and expense tracking

Job Requirements:

• 4-year university degree with an emphasis in Marketing
• 2 – 3 plus years business to business marketing experience
• Demonstrated experience in all major marketing areas: event management and planning, collateral and sales tools, advertising and campaign strategy development
• Intermediate experience in using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to edit existing marketing collateral (bonus: working knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Cloud Suite)
• Strong PowerPoint skills
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Strong project management skills
• Demonstrated strength in online marketing solutions including email, social media optimization, and social networking
• Competitive and market research experience including understanding of data analysis
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, team environment
• Ability to self-manage, multi-task, and manage a large volume of work
• Travel up to 20%
