IBM Looking for Package Consultant – SAP HCM Int/Senior (PAOMBEN) at Nova Scotia Full Time

Your Role and Responsibilities

You have a solid business background in your field, hands-on experience in consulting, SAP S4HANA/ECC 6.0 implementation experience in HR (PA.OM.BEN) and understand just how important the proper configuration and definition of business process is to a client. You’re able to define personnel structures, organizational structures, wage classes and increases, manage the relationship between basic pay and forecasted effort, and identify dependencies in order to define custom procedures. By joining IBM in this area, you will be instrumental in ensuring our clients have their critical processes well defined and streamlined for efficiency. In this role, you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting Fit/Gap analysis and business /process modeling with client stakeholders

• Business/application requirement gathering

• Designing robust business processes considering accepted industry practices and client needs

• SAP HR PA.OM.BEN software configuring and testing

• Lead development of functional and systems specifications

• Write and maintain necessary documentation

• Educate client team members

• Provide deployment support as necessary

• Provide support (i.e., break-fix, how-to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring, testing) to our clients to maintain efficient operations of their SAP HR PA.OM.BEN application

• The ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions through using replicable problem-solving methodology

• Critical, creative, thinking that is solution focused

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and functional skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to adapt to changing environments and evaluate complex challenges

• Ability balance simultaneous assignments

• Project management experience is an asset

• Previous consulting experience is an asset

• Must be located on-site at IBM office in Bedford, NS.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3+ years SAP ECC 6.0 HCM experience (OM, PA, BEN) which includes SAP project implementation, enhancement and production support including interfaces

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Fiori and ESSMSS is an asset

• 5+ years SAP ECC 6.0 HCM experience (OM, PA, BEN) which includes SAP project implementation, enhancement and production support including interfaces.

• Previous experience leading SAP functional teams is an asset

• Eligible for Canadian Reliability Clearance.
