ICE Looking for Relationship Manager – ICE Desktops at Calgary, Alberta, Canada Full Time

Job Purpose

ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, presents the unique opportunity for a full-time Relationship Manager to join a team responsible for surpassing sales quotas and meeting existing customer revenue retention goals. They will be responsible for growing ICE Connect Desktop products by working with specific key energy and commodities accounts in major cities. The ICE Connect product suite includes ICE Connect, ICE Chat and ICE Options Analytics.

This role is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual who relishes being at the forefront of business activities and thrives on their own successes and those of the team. A strong communicator with a good knowledge of energy markets from content, technology and a networking perspective is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supporting and selling the ICE Connect suite of products (primarily ICE IM, ICE Connect, and ICE Options Analytics) within an assigned territory (and/or assigned accounts).
• Become an expert on the ICE Connect suite of products.
• Manage relationships with existing users through trainings, floor walks, and Zoom sessions as well as become the “go to” person for all account inquiries.
• Maximize retention within existing accounts through training and account analysis.
• Collaborate with sales on selling activities.
• Provide technical subject matter expertise across the ICE Connect product suite.
• Uncover leads for sales through customer relationships and intel gathering..
• Manage new client roll outs and user set ups.
• Manage new feature roll outs and projects for all ICE Connect applications.
• Act as a liaison between sales, clients and product management.
• Inform Product Management of feature requests coming from clients.

Knowledge And Experience

• Bachelor Degree required.
• Strong Excel proficiency; requires strong proficiency with large data sets. Python experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Tableau, Salesforce, Instant Messaging, and vended market data systems.
• 3 plus years experience in energy markets and related derivatives.
• Experience in natural gas markets, power markets, crude oil and crude products markets.
• Attention to detail, follow up and diligence in all aspects of work is essential. Multi-task and prioritize under pressure,
• Logical and methodical trouble-shooting skills.
• Experience with billing/AR systems as well as end user license agreements.
• Professional communicator and networker.
• Comfortable following established processes and procedures as well as identifying and driving process improvement.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent time management skills
• Fluent in English

Additional Skills

• Working knowledge of both exchange-trading (both futures & options) and physical markets- specific to natural gas, power, and crude oil. Experience with vended weather systems and modeling is a strong plus.
• Existing network of people and firms in the gas/power/crude oil trading space.
• Experience with middle and back-office workflows.
• Experience with Python.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of up to 2 days per week.
