Our client, a top 5 financial institution, is looking for a Operations Specialist for a 10-months contract to assist with Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association (MFDA).

This role is 1 day in office in Downtown Toronto

As a Operations Specialist your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Process routine daily transactions, including account opening and transfer requests, adhering to internal and external service level agreements.
• Monitor and update Know Your Client (KYC) information and account documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to address account-related issues and inquiries, escalating complex cases to appropriate team members.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and utilize tracking tools to report progress updates regularly.

Qualification

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the mutual fund financial services or investment industry, or a dealer back office environment.
• Successful completion of Anti Money Laundering, Complaint Management, and PIPEDA courses provided by Manulife.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with Dataphile software is a plus.
