Junior IT Technical Analyst (Audit/Compliance) – Contract position in Vancouver:
On behalf of our large, public-sector client based in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking a Junior IT Technical Analyst to join their team for the initial 3 months contract opportunity with strong potential of extension.
Role Description:
The successful candidate will be working within cybersecurity compliance team, provide support on both technical and process controls related to the Transient laptops and removable media (e.g. USB drive). Monitor the controls implemented and provide recommendations on the process improvements. Perform analysis and coordinate the implementation of the improvement items as needed.
Requirements:
A minimum 2-3 years of work experience in IT with some experience, IT Audit, Security compliance, Technical process tasks
General understanding of regulatory compliance standards and requirements
General understanding of IT audit documentation requirements
Above average knowledge on cybersecurity best practices and procedures
Nice-to-have:
Utilities industry database experience
