Job Description
The IKO Global IT department is looking for a passionate, inquisitive, detail oriented and highly customer-focused Business Intelligence (BI) Business, Analyst
Experience working on driving benefits and adoption with new business processes and features of delivered technology solutions is a key requirement.
The Business Analyst will participate in the whiteboard vision and execution of the end-to-end technology roadmap plans.
The Business Analyst should be a technologist at heart, and passionate about the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the vision of an established business with an eye to growth and enablement through technology.
The role will be a key advocate within IKO driving the value to support our stakeholders globally.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with IKO stakeholder teams across business units (i.e., sales, finance, and supply chain) to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams.
Participate and lead in business process review workshops and perform a detailed analysis of business requirements to ensure projects have a proper impact and adoption
Partner directly with various stakeholders to conduct an analysis of business user needs, develop a deep understanding of requirements, and translate them into user stories.
Serve as a thought leader for technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.
Partner with the IKO project team and participate in the rollout of the MS Power BI solution globally.
Develop training curriculum and deliver end-user training to drive adoption and utilization for all users
Develop use case scenarios and participate in testing activities
Identify opportunities to improve business process processes that positively impact the business
Adhere to project schedules, action logs, and dashboard reporting maintaining a list of ongoing and future activities
Travel within North America and Europe might be required
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, on large and complex technology projects in the Manufacturing industry, which include delivery to support Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations
Prior working experience in a Sales and/or Marketing role is an asset
Minimum 3 years experience with a BI tool preferably with Microsoft Power BI
Experienced with SDLC methodology run projects from Requirement Gathering, Design, Testing, Documentation Training through Implementation and Post Live Support
Experienced with global environments and deployments across multiple geographical regions, such as North America and Europe is an asset.
Ability to translate business requirements to technical solutions while identifying gaps
Extensive experience with data visualization and analytics
Excellent communicator, highly analytical and proficient in technical writing capabilities
Knowledge of current technologies and software applications such as specialized Business Intelligence software, SQL query language, Microsoft Access, SharePoint, and other database applications
Experienced with large ERP applications preferably JD Edwards; Salesforce is an asset
IT Business Analyst certification is an asset
University Degree is required
