Inject Tech Plastics Looking for Customer Support Representative at Kitchener, ON Full Time

As a subsidiary of IT Group, Inject Tech Plastics was formed to provide molding solutions and assembly services to the medical, automotive & consumer industries. Our 61,000 square foot facility allows us to offer our customer base an expanded range of injection molding equipment, with presses ranging in tonnage from 28 to 2500 ton, along with new automation equipment to handle your extended run or touch sensitive requirements.

We are currently looking for a Customer Support Representative to join our team in Kitchener, Ontario.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a dedicated and personable Customer Support Representative to develop strong relationships with our customers, as their point of contact. These relationships begin by getting to know our customers and their business and developing trust by providing a quick response with accurate information, ensuring we are meeting our customer’s needs.

This position of Customer Support Representative is based out of the Kitchener, Ontario facility, with direct reporting to IT Group Vice President, and functional reporting to the General Manager at ITP/MoldCo Kitchener.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES

As orders are received from customers, to verify pricing (resin costs, in-molding components, post molding processing) and delivery (molding scheduling, raw material availability, post service timing), and update customs accordingly. Follow-up internally to ensure work is on-schedule and will be delivered on-time.

• Contact – that main ‘go to’ person for customer inquiries.
• Follow-Up – acquiring needed information and relay to customers quickly, ensuring accuracy.
• Support – present a confident value proposition to give security to customers.
• Tracking – track orders, deliveries, late shipments, and inform customers accordingly.
• Relationship – build strong relationships with customers.
• Quoting – obtaining requisite information from customer to effectively quote work (with sales).
• Sales Interface – work with sales to support with projects as needed.
• Internal – effective internal task management and communication to inform team as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Capable to work with customers to develop a strong business relationship.
• Effective communicator, written and verbal.
• Ability to effectively manage various priorities.
• Self-starter with passion and energy to take care of customers.
• Experience working in manufacturing preferred.
• Technical aptitude is a requirement, with ability and desire to learn.
• Attention to detail is a critical necessity.
• Problem solving skills are essential.
• Competent working with a team to give support and uncover needed information.
• Experience with ERP systems / IQMS is an asset.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Customer Support / Service.
• Knowledge of molding / tooling / plastics would be highly valuable.
