Interior Health is hiring a Student, Clinical Education for the Health Care Access Program (HCAP) department. This position is for approximately four months. The location of this position is flexible within the Interior Health region.
What will you work on?
Reporting to the Lead, Health Career Access Program, the student position will provide assistance to both the HCAP program and the Clinical Education team. This position will work with a variety of internal and external partners that collaborate with the departments that support Clinical Education such as IH managers, program participants, contracted partners and various post-secondary institutions.
The student position will support various projects and tasks which may include:
- Data entry into various software systems and ensuring databases and systems are up-to date (Excel, Custom applications used to track participants)
- Assisting with various day to day administrative tasks including triaging emails from shared email
- Tracking project timelines and milestones
- Compiling data from various surveys used to evaluate program effectiveness
- Participation in group sessions, gathering information to document processes
These tasks will require working both with a team and independently, while having support and supervision by a remote manager, mentor or designate.
Some Typical Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists with various program requirements such as data entry tracking of HCAP participants using internal and external systems
- Consult with internal stakeholders to acquire the necessary information
- Updating and organizing internal information management systems, including SharePoint, databases, internal webpages, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Mentimeter and other systems
- Performs other related duties as required
