The Opportunity
The Professional Development Consultant (PDC) is a key member of the Learning Team, providing consultation, service and support related to learning, organizational development and personal and professional development for individuals, teams, programs and the organization across all sites affiliated with IWK Health and community partners. Service is delivered to all employees, physicians and volunteers at all levels.
The Professional Development Consultant (PDC) is an expert and person-centred adult educator who demonstrates leadership in developing and supporting education, personal and professional growth, organizational learning and organizational development amongst the IWK Health workforce. The PDC contributes to organizational success through the assessment, design, implementation and evaluation of strategic learning programs; providing education and support for change initiatives and other strategic initiatives; promoting learning; and providing consultation and service related to individual, team, program and organizational personal and professional development.
Hours of Work
Monday – Friday; 75 hours bi-weekly
