Working out of our brand new, state of the art offices in Midland, we are seeking a passionate and strategic thinker to lead our Human Resources Division through our next stage of continued growth and expansion.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and while working as an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Human Resources will strategically drive our Human Resources Strategy, with a focus on labour, negotiations, health and safety, talent recruitment and retention, planning and implementing strategy to ensure that our Team Members are equipped to meet the needs of our Residents, Families, Team Members and our Stakeholders, both today and in the years to come.
Qualifications:
Must have a certificate/degree in Business and/or Human Resources
CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset
Computer experience with knowledge of Windows environment, Lotus; Microsoft Office
Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills including flexibility and diplomacy
Must have a solid understanding of budgeting and finance
Previous experience working in a unionized environment would be an asset
Preference to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Long Term Care setting
Must possess good writing skills
Must be computer literate
Possess a current drivers license and willing to travel
