Responsibilities
As a Permanent Actuarial Analyst, you will be expected to
- Conduct comprehensive actuarial analysis and calculations to support our business operations and strategic decisions.
- Assess and manage risk effectively, ensuring that our company’s financial health is not compromised.
- Utilize your deep understanding of insurance to develop and implement strategies that will benefit our customers and our business.
- Communicate complex actuarial information and findings to non-actuarial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in actuarial science, ensuring that our company remains competitive.
- Collaborate with various teams and departments, contributing your actuarial expertise where needed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Actuarial Analyst position should possess the following
- A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in actuarial analysis and risk assessment in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles and practices.
- Excellent numerical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using actuarial software and tools.
- The ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in actuarial science.
