Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Development Accountant at Jobsearch Canada Inc., located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. As a Development Accountant, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks related to real estate development projects. This includes financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, preparing financial statements, and managing project costs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our clients’ development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in real estate development or construction
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• CPA designation or working towards CPA is an asset
