Position Overview
The Medical Education Digital Content Lead, IBD will be part of the larger Digital & Innovation team that will work in partnership with the national medical education team to develop, lead and implement the digital tactical plan to ensure achievement of the Therapeutic Area’s strategic educational vision, as relating to digital program offerings. They are responsible for the digital journey of each educational asset.
They build and sustain organizational digital education capabilities and ensure activities are aligned with laws, regulations, policy, and Corporate Compliance objectives. The Medical Education Digital Content Lead will develop and provide updates on the digital journey and provide key milestone updates to the event owner (National Med Ed team). They will coordinate the metrics via the data management team and serve as subject matter experts on digital tools, latest innovation, and advancements in the area of digital and hybrid education and provide this expertise to asset the development team.
Core Responsibilities:
Digital Project Leadership
Lead development of best-in-class digital strategy for educational assets, including multi-channel communication and education programs
Conduct mapping workshops to identify digital customer personas and develop personalized digital tactics to meet individual learning needs
Identify quantifiable metrics to measure success of digital initiatives and gain insights
Development of a coordinated medical education digital strategy for events including broader coordination of field teams
Lead digital strategy for each asset, from inception, internal review process and approval, production testing, and field deployment
Identify standard methodologies in terms of which digital vendors can be used to help streamline execution capabilities
Direct and lead project meetings with digital clients and internal team business partners to discuss digital offerings, identifying innovative and creative digital solutions for longitudinal learning
Lead and integrate digital solutions for national and regional needs assessments process through existing digital platforms in coordination with the national and regional med ed team
Subject Matter Expert
Able to articulate business value to proposed digital solution, define success measures / KPIs, track KPIs and collect users’ sentiment to drive continuous improvement and value realization
Able to enlist other SMEs from the organization as needed
Communicator and innovation identification
Lead and analyze trends/findings related to the digital product per asset to identify practical insights
Support the Director of Digital Content & Innovation to coordinate the critical metrics of the digital platform and digital journeys per asset

Education
A minimum of a university degree is required, preferably in medical or related health sciences subject area; a science degree is preferred
Required
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, medical education field or educational field years
Previous experience working in the Digital Space
Knowledge of current pharmaceutical regulated standards (IMC Code of Ethical Practices, ICH GCP, cGMPs, Pharmacovigilance standards)
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Proficiency in metrics and reporting, creating dashboards and scorecards, and communicating complex information at the right tone and breadth for each audience
Experience in continuous improvement and or quality improvement processes
Strong analytical and time management skills to be able to prioritization and organize workflow activities to meet tight deadlines
Superior level of attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Experience with interacting with different levels of the organization
Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to showcase leadership of cross-functional project team members
Understanding of agile ways of working in a team matrix environment is critical
Demonstrated experience on organizational change and adoption
Ability to make decisions specific to business requirements
A valid driver’s license
Preferred
Completion of a course in Continuing Medical Education or CPD i.e., CCPE
Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Microsoft products, Adobe products, and strong ability to learn other technology quickly
Confirmed examples of leadership, high learning agility, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity in the development of educational projects
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment
English & French bilingualism
