Marketing Coordinator
As Marketing Coordinator, you will work with a small team focused on the execution of BC Tech’s activities which would include but is not limited to C Councils, Dragons Den Pitch Nights, BC Tech Mentorship program and Annual Technology Impact Awards. We are looking for a positive, proactive, dedicated, detail-oriented, professional with a strong track record in delivering to deadlines to a high standard.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the creation and execution of marketing briefs for various member marketing related activities.
- Support the execution of the BC Tech C Council Program as directed by the Manager, Member Marketing
- Support execution of the BC Tech Mentorship program by setting up and tracking mentoring sessions.
- Support the team in the execution if the annual Technology Impact Awards as directed.
- Coordinate website updates with designer.
- Support event planning and execution for both virtual and in person events.
- Assisting with the creation, approval and printing of marketing collateral.
- Provide administrative support and assist with various marketing-related tasks such as social media, newsletter and other projects as needed.
Job Requirements
- Works individually and collaboratively as part of small team focused on member service.
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure in the midst of time sensitive, diverse projects in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with google drive & docs.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and critical thinking while maintaining overall understanding of member marketing projects.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Courteous, professional manner in dealing with internal and external contacts and customers, including positive interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in marketing and communications role.

Salary: $58,000-$63,000 per year
