$90,000 to $100,000 Base Salary, plus commission
OTE is $130,000 +

Their primary business is providing door-to-door transportation service from anywhere in North America to destinations in Newfoundland and Labrador. OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:
Head Office – Mississauga, Ontario
Work from home
The sales territory is Ontario, with a focus on the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Full-time – Monday to Friday
THE PRODUCT / SERVICE / SOLUTION :
Intermodal transportation (Marine / Trucking) of various merchandise to Newfoundland and Labrador
PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION-MAKER(S):
Large to Enterprise sized organizations
Current customers include Food / CPG Industry, Automotive Industry, Furniture Industry
You will be selling to Traffic Managers, Traffic Departments, Owners/Managers
SALES CYCLE / PRODUCT VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE:
The average project size is $10,000 +
Average revenue by customer $100,000 – $2,000,000 +
The average length of the sales cycle is 7 – 120 days

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES:
40% Account Management
20% Upselling
20% Following up on Warm Inbound Leads
20% Cold Calling & New Business Development
LEADS:
50% Prospecting/Cold Calling
50% following up on warm Leads
OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:
Occasional – Trade shows, Training, Client Visits
EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of Corporate Account Management/sales experience within the transportation industry
Must have most recent experience selling FTL and LTL
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Drivers License and Clean Drivers Abstract
Excel – Intermediate
PowerPoint – Basic
MS Word – Basic
SUPPORT & TRAINING:
Job Shadowing
Mentoring
Training on Company Processes & Procedures
Training on Sea Freight specifics
Fully productive within 6 – 9 months
