About the role
Reporting to the MD of Greece, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing all human resources functions; developing, implementing and managing all HR activities and ensuring that policies, plans and objectives are met resulting in continuous improvement in the performance of all activities and initiatives.
Primary responsibilities
Responsible for all HR related queries in Greece and work closely with HR Global Team.
Update, maintain and ensure conformity of HR policies & procedures in alignment with local standards.
Responsible for headcount and personnel information update in HR database.
Responsible for payroll administration of the country.
Maintain employee records and administration of all HR tasks.
Management of local employment contracts and international/regional secondments. Handle Labour law issues and requirements.
Induction of new employees in the country.
Manage employee performance development / training development process.
Responsible for the HR reporting to the HQ in Germany.
Lead and actively participate in implementation of global /local HR initiatives.
Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes
Degree in Social Sciences or in Business Administration and other relative discipline. Post graduate studies in HRM is considered an asset.
Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience.
Strong knowledge of labor law and payroll processes.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Greece.
Meticulous and detail oriented.
Good time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude.
Proficiency in IT software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with ability to learn new systems.
Able to handle personal and confidential information with discretion.
Demonstrated ability to work in matrix organizations, to operate and to navigate in a multinational environment.
