The logistics coordinator is responsible for the procurement, organization and efficient transportation for the entire lifecycle of our products, from the acquisition of raw materials to final product distribution.
A successful logistics coordinator should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. You should also be able to promptly resolve supply and distribution issues.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze sales orders for accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to our policies
- Creating, reviewing, and routing purchase orders
- Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures
- Answering internal staff queries
- Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity
- Ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
- Record all purchase order and shipment changes and updates in the appropriate systems and keep stakeholders informed – with time being of the essence
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
- Manage backorders, errors, exceptions
- Ensure that our inventory catalogs are kept up-to-date with supplier and KJI changes (e.g. new products, pricing changes); maintain an intimate knowledge of our products and services
- Maintain inventory and purchase order settings in our Order Management System
- Continuously seek and implement opportunities for improvement (for self and KJI)!

Education and Experience
- 1-3 years of on-the-job experience in a logistics capacity
- Experience writing and diagraming workflow processes would be an asset

- Permanent, Full Time Position
- Regular hours are m-f 8:30am to 4:30pm with 30-min lunch and breaks
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30,000.00-$38,000.00 per year
