Job Title: Senior Site Superintendent
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
Pay Range: $130,000k per year (Flexible)
Shifts: Steady Days; 7:00am- 4:30pm; on-call weekends
Work Location: Markham, ON
Summary
Our client has partnered with Kelly Services to hire for a motivated Senior Site Superintendent to join their growing team. If you are an experienced leader with good working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and all Health and Safety requirements, then this opportunity might be the opportunity for you.
Duties and Responsibilities

Update site construction budget
-
Manage site costs
-
Manage all aspects of construction in the field including one specific site or several sites

Coordinate and scheduling of trades

Direction of site activities and manage Labour forces

Maintain good working relationship with City inspectors

Establish and maintain a high level of quality workmanship from trades

Perform and attend pre delivery inspections

Prepare regular closing date updates

Preview scopes of work and contract documents as required

Self-managed professional capable of multitasking while meeting multiple deadlines in a timely manner

Overall control of site expenditures, all to be approved by management prior to expenditure being incurred
Requirements
-
College degree in Engineering / Construction an asset

Have good working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and all Health and Safety Requirements

Able to work on a large residential production site with the ability to work with others well

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word

Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines

Proficient in scheduling software and ability to learn Newstar and Builderlynx

Home Building and Development Industry knowledge an asset

Exceptional interpersonal skills
