Kinden Accounting & Advisory Looking for Senior Staff Accountant at Halifax, NS Full Time

Kinden CPA is a fully-remote and rapidly growing online accounting firm based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Join our team as a Senior Staff Accountant in this fully-remote position providing services to small businesses across Canada.

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for Client relationships. From financial reporting, taxation, and strategy, you will become a trusted advisor to each Client that you are assigned. This means:

• Working directly with Clients to provide consultation services relating to strategy, finance, and taxation.
• Mentoring a team of Staff Accountants to enable the delivery of services for your Clients
• Planning and executing on financial statement compilations and tax filings
• Walking Clients through the Client Onboarding Process
• Regularly reviewing financial health and providing insights where appropriate
• Consistently responding to Client inquiries with clear responses

Required Experience and Education:

• 3 years of combined public accounting experience in assurance or taxation. Big 4 experience is preferred but not required.
• Must hold a CPA Designation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
