Urgent need for qualified elementary teachers/tutors to provide spring and/or summer substitute tutoring in clients’ homes for established clients in Burlington and Oakville, Ontario. Experience with neurodiverse students. Must have your own transportation. Students will need reading, writing and/or math support/teaching. Ability to tailor tutoring sessions to student’s individual needs and interests. Building/sourcing creative and engaging resources will be helpful. Providing strategies for executive functioning, such as planning, organization, etc. would also be an asset. Able to apply accommodations and build skills based on IEP and Psycho Ed Assessments.
Flexible hours available: 2-30 hours/week, with ability to have time off – we can work with what you are able to provide in terms of time.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
COVID-19 considerations:
Will be required to follow any protocols necessary to keep clients and their families safe. Some clients live in homes with high risk individuals. Must be willing to wear a mask if it is the family’s preference or if mandates require.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Experience:
