King’s Services Inc. Looking for Human Resources Coordinator at Headingley, MB Full Time

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the finance and administration team in compensation and benefit, recruiting, onboarding, and termination.

Key Responsibilities

– Maintain the confidentiality of human resources information, and respect privacy laws.

– Administer compensation and benefit plans.

• Benefits coordination
• Absence recording
• RRSP/DPSP program coordination

– Conduct recruitment processes, and manage employee files and records in electronic and paper form.

• Post jobs on multiple platforms, pre-screen applicants, conduct interviews with hiring managers
• Manage candidates from preparing before interviews to assisting with final offer negotiation, and onboarding
• Maintain candidate records and follow up on interview process status
• Perform reference checks, prepare employment paperwork and process new hires
• Take ownership of candidate experience.
• Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection are done following employment laws and regulations.

– Handle employee and leader questions and concerns about salaries, benefits, leave, and termination.

• Prepare termination and other letters and ensure accuracy of all employee paperwork.
• Conduct 30-Day Revies and Exit Interviews and provide HR reports.
• Process resignations
• Maintain employees’ files updated in both paper and the database.

– Support other functions as assigned

Requirements
· Degree or diploma in business, HR or related areas preferred

· 2 years of experience in an HR position conducting full-cycle recruitment activities

· HR generalist and payroll experience an asset, not required

· Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential

· Demonstrated the highest regard for confidentiality

· Knowledge of Manitoba labour legislation and other applicable laws

· Strong computer skills, especially MS Office and software such as QuickBooks

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Ability to effectively operate in a growing and changing team environment

· Own transportation as there is no bus service to our site
