As a Marketing and Sales Analyst, you will work closely with Knak’s Head of Marketing Operations and other key stakeholders to build a data platform with data from critical systems. You will then be responsible for analyzing the data and surfacing actionable insights to the wider marketing, sales, and leadership team. This position is open to working Hybrid from our Ottawa HQ or fully remote within Canada.
Role and Responsibilities:
Help build a Marketing & Sales data platform that will consist of data from critical systems, product usage data, and external data sources
Work with external contractors and an in-house engineering team to create data pipelines from systems like Salesforce CRM, Knak App, Marketo, and Google Analytics to be stored in our data warehouse – with an emphasis on scalability and efficiency
Work with the Head of Marketing Operations to develop, manage and analyze key marketing funnel metrics to drive revenue growth and enable forecasting
Help lead a cross-functional team focused on improving marketing attribution modeling
Build ROI models that can be used by marketing program owners to understand efficiency of their programs
Work with stakeholders from Marketing and Sales Operations to help surface these insights in our BI tool, Tableau
Analyze website and traffic data to pull out valuable insights
Surface recommendations and create presentations for leadership. Including QBR reporting
Analyze survey data (typically NPS and Benchmark)
Skills and Experience:
Passionate about data quality and willing to learn independently
An architect and a builder and love helping to bring the marketing data platform visions to life
Able to collaborate successfully with a diverse set of stakeholders (from technical engineers to less technical sales and marketing stakeholders) to connect your work to business value
Energized when you’re able to help people make the most of their data
Experience working in Salesforce, Snowflake, and Tableau
Can translate concepts into code (knows some SQL and DBT)
