The ideal candidate will possess a combination of creative instructional design skills and technical knowledge and is passionate about building best-in-class learning. This position requires instructional design/course development of learner-centered, performance-based training programs, for all functional areas globally within Kodak. The role will be responsible for conducting needs/gap analysis, curriculum mapping, evaluation of existing content, and the development of engaging role-based curriculum that is aligned to meet the business needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Identify appropriate instructional methodologies and delivery methods to meet identified needs.
Employ a structured approach to course development.
Use authoring software tools to develop learning courses.
Manage multiple instructional design projects at the same time.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts to create appropriate content and context for learning.
Develop learning content using various modalities, standardized templates, and best practices including but not limited to eLearning, instructor-led training (in-person and virtual), performance tools, guides, job aids, assessments, and other materials.
Develop learning deliverables in various engaging formats (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.).
Design, develop, implement, and pilot learning solutions and revise as required.
Complete all program deployment activities to include LMS, TTT, rollout schedule, and communication to the audience.
Implement training metrics to monitor training effectiveness against business goals.
Provide expertise within the LMS to promote streamlined and consistent use of the system, while offering and implementing solutions to continuously improve the process.
Provide support and guidance to internal business partners and stakeholders including international and dealer training requests.
Knowledge, Skill, and Other Requirements
Extensive knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment
Instructional design experience focused on digital and blended learning
Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS)
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Experience with design platforms and course management systems
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical employees and clients
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Experience with SharePoint
Excellent procedural writing and editing skills
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Ability to work independently and with minimum direction
Ability to perform in a team environment and be collaborative and flexible with change
Experience using Teams, WebEx, and other virtual learning technologies
Minimum Requirements:
BS, MS, or higher degree in instructional design, education, or related field
