The Opportunity

KPMG’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) strives to transform how the Office of the CFO consolidates, reports, plans, forecasts, and uses data and analytics to support decision making through the use of emerging modern technology. As our group expands, we are looking for developers who want to make a difference, leveraging modern technology to help clients achieve efficiencies.

What you will do

• Participating in implementation, customization and configuration of modern cloud technologies that support the Office of the CFO
• Code, test, debug and document software solutions using appropriate processes, tools, frameworks, libraries, patterns, best practices and standards, leveraging VB.Net, C#, SQL and other coding standards
• Work collaboratively with the engagement team and functional consultants
• Working on a wide variety of projects from large-to-small for customers in a variety of industries
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with existing solution and resolve these issues in a timely and accurate manner
• Work in a team with other developers and Project Managers to develop the best solutions for projects
• Reviewing code for quality and work on performance tunning
• Supporting the team responsible for the implementation and administration of the modern cloud technology installation, including managing system configurations, gathering and documenting user and process requirements, developing workflow customizations, and performing quality assurance testing
• Providing technical support, assisting customers with proof-of-concept activities, and leading practice build efforts to include development of practice intellectual property (IP).

What you bring to the role

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent College an accredited diploma
• 1-3 years of experience with any of the following languages and/or methods: VB.NET, SQL, XML, and RESTful web integration.
• Experience implementing and customizing EPM solutions or other data analytic platforms
• Proven ability to create innovative solutions to solve complex business requirements, and streamline/automate business processes
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills
• Creation of Technical Specifications documentation for the project including specifications for customizations, data migration, and system integrations
• Impeccable attention to detail, superior communication skills, including the ability to communicate with client stakeholders, work closely in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience working in a client facing role with both technical and functional stakeholders with strong relationship management skills and a passion for client satisfaction and delivery excellence is preferred.
