The Opportunity
The GTA Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Manager to join us in our Toronto office. This individual will drive marketing programs for our Foundational/Priority Industries portfolios by working with leadership to develop locally driven strategic and tactical integrated marketing programs aimed at business and relationship development, leads generation and brand management. This individual will also work closely with their Account Management and National marketing counterparts on the development of broader campaigns, account-based marketing programs, and ensuring consistency of messaging in the marketplace.
What you will do:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Function and Industry Marketing (FIM) in the GTA, the incumbent will work closely with local practice leaders, Partners, their Account Management counterpart, and the entire GTA Marketing team in the development and execution of integrated marketing plans designed to meet the goals and objectives of the local practice.
Effectively develop, manage and execute annual marketing plans aligned to national plans and local business objectives, and internal communications
Build the brand of the Foundational/Priority Industries practice through integrated marketing campaigns which maintain a leading point-of-view and shape the marketplace
Develop, maintain and leverage relationships with key industry organizations, strengthening the clout of our brand through strategic sponsorships and partnerships
Develop and execute in-market activities including events, sponsorships, blogs, webcasts and podcasts
Review market, revenue and previous campaign data to help identify opportunities and develop marketing programs to address and support
Develop, write and manage practice-wide internal communications to support corresponding internal forums and events
Report consistently on key KPIs designed for industries and functional marketing (campaign effectiveness, media awareness, lead generation etc.)
Solicit feedback from internal stakeholders on a quarterly basis and track performance against goals
Facilitate collaboration and teaming within and outside the marketing group
Manage KPMG’s relationship with external industry and community associations and organizations
Plan, support and drive account based marketing programs targeting our priority accounts across the Foundational/Priority Industries
What you bring to this role:
University degree, diploma or similar credentials in Business, Marketing, Sales or related discipline
5-8 years’ of B2B marketing experience
Strong email marketing expertise demonstrated in a professional environment
Must be a highly efficient, detail-oriented, quick learner and self-starter who is eager to develop professionally
Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills
Must be a team player and an active participant and contributor to marketing meetings
Ability to work independently to meet deadlines
Strong track record of client service delivery and stakeholder management with senior executives
Superior project management skills—MUST be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong social and digital media acumen with deep experience in managing these aspects of campaigns and conversant with demand generation, lead nurturing campaigns and leading edge technology
Innovative mindset that actively disrupts in order to improve what we do
Experience in determining and demonstrating marketing and digital ROI
