As a Front End Developer, you will build large client-side web applications from scratch and is familiar with standard software patterns and best practices.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Mississauga, ON office.
KUBRA’s hiring efforts will continue during the COVID-19 pandemic. Any face-to-face stages of our interview process will be virtual via video conference.
What you get to do every day:
Build large client-side web applications entirely in JavaScript ES6/Typescript
Support existing JavaScript code bases with bug fixes or enhancements
Work with designers to build and develop GUIs for KUBRA applications

Someone with excellent communication skills to be able to confidently communicate organization information through department meetings and one-on-one meetings
A stickler for enforcing quality and service standards
A true talent and drive for resolving issues, identifying trends, and recommending improvements
What skills do you need?:
2-3 years of experience working with JavaScript
React experience is a MUST
Experience with at least one JavaScript framework
Experience with HTML and CSS and strong knowledge of the latest standards and techniques
Knowledge of maps or other mapping libraries is preferred
Writing Javascript tests and experience with Javascript testing Frameworks
Experience with TypeScript or interest in learning TypeScript preferred
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment
