What you get to do every day:
Responsible for all cold-calling/developing new business leads.
Uncover new business opportunities within opportunity base.
Develop and help maintain new business relationships by following up with regular proactive contact
Provide smooth transition of accounts to the sales team through effective internal communications and proper documentation. (Salesforce
Conducting online marketing research on the new lead
Enter detailed information into Salesforce database CRM to provide all activities which may lead to documented opportunity that is transitioned to sales
Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with potential clients
Understand prospects current state and possible future state to set appropriate meeting based on our product line
What kind of person should you be?:
High level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Results driven and persistent
Strong time management skills and a strong sense of professionalism
Excellent telephone sales communication
Customer service experience
Experience selling to customer needs and prospecting
Motivation for sales and making deals
Ability to handle rejection well while maintaining professionalism
What skills do you need?:
Minimum of 2 years of sales and/or telemarketing experience
Previous market research experience is an asset
Experience cold-calling potential leads and prospecting
Past achievement in new and expanded client business generation
Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple tasks
Must be a goal oriented, persuasive, self-motivated and independent worker
Must be able to work well under pressure and be efficient in meeting deadlines
